Facebook and Instagram use the Meta Pixel field. Google uses the Google fields below; YouTube advertising uses the relevant Google Ads setup. X Pixel ID and YouTube channel-link fields are available below as optional drafts. Reddit, TikTok and Snap Pixel fields below are optional and remain unconfigured until you supply an ID. Saving an ID does not publish tracking.
Social profile links
These are the destinations for the website’s social links. They are separate from tracking IDs.
Site-wide pixels & tags
Enter the provider ID, without pasting script code. These settings are intended for all public janesosmart.com pages through one shared installation. Private administration and the Jane app are excluded.
Find Reddit Pixel ID in Reddit Ads Events Manager, TikTok Pixel ID in TikTok Ads Manager, and Snap Pixel ID in Snapchat Ads Manager. Copy only the ID, not the script or an API access token. No secret token is needed in these fields.
Installation status
Meta Pixel supports Facebook and Instagram advertising. Google Tag Manager can also install other providers: configure a pixel directly or through the container, once, to prevent duplicate page views. Analytics reporting access is separate.
To remove a provider, clear its ID and save the draft. Publish the saved draft to apply the change site-wide. Conversion events must reflect real completed actions; page visits alone must not count as purchases or registrations.
Your business addresses.
A future live deletion permanently removes the mailbox and stored messages. A website settings export cannot restore email. The private cPanel adapter defaults disconnected; live actions require verified hosting configuration.
People & access
Owner includes all permissions automatically. Business Manager oversees the .com backend, including social and delegated staff. Assign one person several roles without creating extra accounts. Staff roles apply to the website now; Jane app access still requires its separate Supabase integration.
Temporary staff passwords must be shared through a trusted private channel. This action does not send an invitation email.
Owner approvals
Review the exact saved revision before the final click. Changed drafts require a new review. This workflow currently publishes website settings; app releases, billing and support corrections remain separate.

Exports contain public draft values only. They exclude owner credentials, cPanel tokens, mailboxes, messages and website/database files.

Work through these steps once. Your staff can then connect supported social accounts using their own administrator sign-in.
1. Website database
Use the database details from your hosting control panel. Social records use their own tables; existing website and app-testing tables stay unchanged.
2. Connect Facebook
Connect an existing Facebook Page you manage. Personal profiles are not supported by this dashboard.
- Open Meta for Developers and create or select your business application.
- Configure Facebook Login for the Page access available to that application. Add the exact redirect URI below to its valid OAuth redirect URIs.
- Request only pages_show_list and pages_read_engagement. Complete the app eligibility, testing roles or review required by Meta for your intended users.
- Save the developer App ID and App Secret below. Then open Social Dashboard, choose Connect Facebook, authorize on Facebook and select your Page.
Use the developer App ID, not the advertising Pixel ID. Your public Facebook website link stays unchanged. Initial collection supports Page followers; unsupported views/reach remain unavailable.
Graph API version v26.0. Saving credentials does not prove Meta approval or connect a Page. Authorize and select the actual Page before reporting a connection.
3. Connect Instagram
This connection supports an Instagram Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page you manage. Authorization opens on Meta/Facebook to access that linked Instagram account. Personal Instagram accounts are not supported by this method.
- In Meta for Developers, use a business application with Instagram API through Facebook Login.
- Link the professional Instagram account to the correct Facebook Page. Make sure the person authorizing has the required Page access.
- Add the exact Instagram callback below to the app's valid OAuth redirect URIs. Request pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement and instagram_basic for this read-only connection.
- Save setup below. Then choose Connect Instagram in Social Dashboard, authorize on Meta and explicitly select your Instagram account.
Initial reporting supports Instagram followers. Unsupported reach, views and other insights remain unavailable. Saving credentials does not connect an account or prove Meta approval. Facebook and YouTube setup remain independent.
4. Connect YouTube
Register a Web application in Google Cloud, enable YouTube Data API v3 and YouTube Analytics API, and configure the consent screen for your authorized users. This one-time provider setup cannot be replaced by a Jane button.
Paste that exact URI into your Google web client. Enter the issued client details below; saved secrets are never displayed.
Then open Social Dashboard, choose Connect YouTube and authorize on Google. Jane does not ask for your social password. Other platform cards explain their current availability.
5. Reporting timezone
6. Automatic collection and recovery
Ask your hosting administrator to schedule the private social-collect.php script every five minutes, using your private configuration path. This uses the hosting scheduler; saving this wizard does not itself create a cron job. Verify scheduled collection in Social Dashboard → Collection health.
Keep the private configuration, its encryption key and website database in protected backups. Verify a restore before relying on the dashboard. Never upload those backups into a public website folder.
7. Give someone else access
Open People & access and create an individual staff sign-in. Grant Social Administrator for account connections and reports, or Social Viewer for reports only. Staff must replace their temporary password on first sign-in. Do not share your Owner password. Provider application secrets and database configuration remain Owner-only setup.
8. Renewal warnings and manager email
Automatic renewal is used where supported. Managers see advance warnings seven days before a known manual renewal deadline, again within 24 hours, and after failure or expiration. Dashboard warnings remain available even if email is unavailable.
9. Connect X
Connect the X account you authorize for read-only follower totals. X API reads may cost money; setup stays disabled until you verify pricing and spending controls.
- Open the X developer console. Create or select your application and enable OAuth 2.0 as a confidential Web App.
- Set read access and the exact callback below. Use the OAuth 2.0 Client ID and Client Secret, not the API key or app-only Bearer token.
- Review current User Read pricing and configure the console spending limit and credit controls. Disable automatic credit purchases unless separately approved. Enter the verified price and a rolling annual Jane limit up to $10 below.
- Save, then choose Connect X in Social Dashboard. Sign in on X and explicitly select the returned account.

Requested read-only scopes: tweet.read, users.read and offline.access. No posts or messages are collected or published. Offline access supports automatic renewal where X permits it.
Errors show a safe reference code and next step. Copy details for troubleshooting assistance; never share secrets or tokens. Saving setup alone does not connect X or purchase credits.
